Set whether or not external activity counts as a check-in

If you set up an integration that pulls in activity (like Jira or GitHub), then team members can be automatically counted as participating when they have activity to report.

To enable (or disable) external activity from counting as a team member checking in, go to the Teams & People page and select Team Settings for the corresponding team. Then select "Check-ins" from the left-hand menu.

Under the "Questions" section, toggle the "Treat activity as participation" option.

When disabled, users will only be counted as participating if they provide a manual update and answer the check-in questions.
